Tamil Nadu election: TVK to ally only with parties that accept Vijay as CM, says Sengottaiyan

 Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader K.A. Sengottaiyan has said the party would forge an alliance for the elections, only with those parties that accept TVK founder and actor Vijay as the chief ministerial candidate

Mr. Sengottaiyan said several parties were attempting to include the TVK in their alliances. “However, an alliance will be [forged] only with those who accept Mr. Vijay as the Chief Minister,” he said. He claimed surveys conducted by various parties had placed Mr. Vijay at the top of the list and described him as a leader who had left a prominent position in the film industry to enter politics “with the aim of protecting the people” of Tamil Nadu..
