Tamil Nadu under complete lockdown from today
Chennai, Coimbatore and Madurai will be shut for four days, the restrictions will be applicable for three days in other two cities salem and coimbatore.
Added to this Tambaram and Madambakkam in Chengelpet district, Avadi and Poonamallee in Tiruvallur district and Kundrathur and Ayyappanthangal in Kancheepuram district will also be under complete lockdown.
Grocery shops will be completely shut after the government order and movement of public will be fully curtailed. However swiggy and zomato and dunzo will serve asusual.
On the announcement people throng the bazaar to stock the groceries and vegetables for the next 4 days. In most of the places no social distancing followed and the timing also extended by 3Pm by government to facilitate more purchase. Hope people have not spread any corona today and hope all are adequately protected by wearing mask and used sanitizer
