Punjab recorded 21 coronavirus (COVID-19) cases on Monday taking the tally to 2,081.Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu said State government has provided free treatment to more than 49,189 patients during the lockdown in the empanelled hospitals under the “Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna”.

With 106 more COVID-19 positive cases being detected in Odisha on Monday, the State’s total stood at 1,438, according to the State government. While 96 of the 106 cases were migrant workers who returned recently, the remaining seven belonged to the local community. All the 96 migrants were in quarantine centres, the government said.

Maharashtra reports 60 deaths, 2436 new cases. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in its May 25 update said that 1,38,845 have been tested positive in the country and the death toll stands at 4,021.
