In a setback to the lockdown relaxation and also to think twice on releasing the lockdown on 17th May, Maharashtra reports 36 deaths, 1230 new cases and also Tamil Nadu reports 798 new cases, highest ever.

PM had an interaction meeting with all the CM’s today on the move to relaxation on the lockdown and further steps to bring back the normalcy. However there is no chance for revival soon in Tamilnadu since it has reported 798 news cases and CM Edapaddi requested PM not to open the air route to tamilnadu till 31st May.

The Koyambedu market emerged as the latest hotspot of Covid-19 last week with a large number of cases being linked to the wholesale vegetable and fruit market overtaking the tablighi in Tamilnadu.
